Position: School Psychologist

Reports to: Director/Assistant Director of Exceptional Children, Lead Psychologist Terms of Employment: 10 months

Pay Grade: See state salary scale
Pay Range: See state salary scale
FLSA Status: Exempt

 

Nature of Work

To facilitate the learning and development of student by promoting their cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and social development.

 

Education and Experience

A master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

 

Certification and Licensure Requirements (if applicable):

Valid license to practice as a school psychologist (Level II or III)

Physical Requirements

The work is primarily sedentary. It requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. The work requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. The work at times requires bending, squatting, reaching, with the ability to lift, carry, push or pull light weights. The work requires activities involving driving automotive equipment.
